Personally tailored one to two days hands-on training in various techniques (e.g. microinjection, mouse embryo cryopreservation) is organized on request.
INTERNATIONAL MASTER´S PROGRAMME IN BIOMEDICAL IMAGING
International Master´s Programme in Biomedical Imaging is jointly administrated by the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. Close cooperators are the national Turku PET Centre, Turku Center for Disease Modeling, Turku Centre for Biotechnology and Turku University Hospital.

PATHOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAMME IN DISEASE MODELLING (60 cr)
The disease modelling programme is a new, nationwide training programme for researchers with a higher university degree (equivalent to M.Sc.). The training programme is intended for both Finnish and foreign researchers working in the private sector or public research institutes. The training takes 2 - 2,5 years to complete. Studies include practical training at the workplace, as well as lectures and laboratory courses during contact-teaching days. The programme totals 60 credits. Students will have access to an online learning environment customised for their use. Student admissions took place in summer 2009 and the training began in autumn 2009.
